Dietary Supplements
For some people during Chemotherapy, they cannot eat regular foods. We are (for some people) sick (vomiting). Also the taste and texture of food changes for 7 to 9 days between each chemo. But it’s during this time that we need to increase our immune system and with little food it’s hard to achieve.
Everything would smell so good but as soon as I put it in my mouth it would feel like I was eating sand. It was the texture not the taste that was putting me off the food. I ended up putting everything in my Vita Mix Blender and drinking it with a big straw. That was still not enough though and I had to take some dietary supplements to help me.
