Homemade Bath Bombs & Fizzie

Recipe#1

2 cups Epsom salts
2 tablespoons water
few drops essential oil(s)
1 drop food coloring
if desired large or small round bath-ball molds

Mix together Epsom salts and water in a bowl. Add oil, 1 drop at a time, until you like the sense. Add food coloring, 1 drop at a time, until color is even Fill the mixture into half of a bath-ball mold. Pack firmly. Repeat, into the second half of mold. Press the two parts together until they connect. Remove one half of mold very carefully. Let the half bath dry over night, and remove the other part carefully and let dry for a few days

Recipe#2

1-cup citric acid (can buy Citric Acid at Whole Foods or any other natural, type store)
Witch hazel put in a squirt bottle (Non Aerosol Mist like sprays designed to tone and refresh the face during the day. Should be used on problem skin and bruises)
Few drops essential oil(s)
1 drop food coloring
plus more if desired Any shaped molds or dome molds

Mix the citric acid and baking soda; grind it down into a very fine powder so you do not have a grainy bath bomb. Add your food coloring 1 drop at a time, until color is even, Add your essential oil 1 drop at a time, until you like the sense. Add the witch hazel until the mixture it sticks together. Pack them hard and firmly into molds. Let them dry about one day

Recipe#3

3/4-cup Cornstarch
1/2-cup Epsom Salt
1 1/4-cupBaking Soda
3/4-cup Citric Acid (can buy Citric Acid at Whole Foods or any other natural, type store)
1-tablespoon water Essential Oil
3-tablespoons of Olive Oil
Ground up the Epsom Salt until a really fine powder

Mix your dry ingredients. Get a separate bowl and mix your wet ingredients. (Add essential oils a few drop if you want some sense, and food coloring if you want some color). Pour the liquid into the dry ingredients. Work fast, because it is about to get bubbly. Whisk it all together until you get a consistency of wet sand. Mold your bath bombs with a ice-creams scoop on a cookie sheet to dry. Let dry overnight

Recipe#4

1-cup Citric Acid
 (can buy Citric Acid at Whole Foods or any other natural, type store)
2-cups Baking Soda
3-tablespoons Honey Powder
3-tablespoons Fine Oatmeal
3-TBS Whole Milk Powder
3-TBS Ground Calendula powder (helps heal and soothe irritated, damaged skin
1 – 2 ounces Witch Hazel Put in a squirt bottle (Non Aerosol Mist like sprays designed to tone and refresh the face during the day. Should be used on problem skin and bruises)
1/2 – 1 tsp. essential oil
shape mold

Mix all the dry together in a bowl, wet with Witch Hazel add essential oil. Stir until the mixture needs to stick together, packed firmly into a mold, Let dry dry for one day before removing them from the molds

Recipe#5 (two steps)

1 1/4-cup baking soda
3/4-cup citric acid (can buy Citric Acid at Whole Foods or any other natural, type store)
3/4-cup cornstarch
3-tablespoons grape seed oil
1 tablespoon purified water
1/2-teaspoon borax
1-teaspoon fragrance oil (optional)
5-10 drops skin-safe coloring (soap colors)

Witch Hazel in a spritz bottle

Mix together in a large bowl the baking soda, citric acid, and cornstarch. Put aside. In a small bowl Mix together the grape seed oil, purified water, borax, fragrance oil and coloring. Mix well all ingredients. Slowly drizzle the wet mixture into the dry mixture while blending with a spoon (or your hand). Mix until you have a “wet sand” texture – spritz with Witch Hazel. I like using the mini cupcake molds, Press the soap down into the mold as hard as you can. Flip over the mold and release the Cupcake Bath soap from the mold. (If the cupcake crumbles when un-molding, place back into the big bowl, spritz with Witch Hazel, and mix and pack the mold again.) Let the Cupcake Bath soap to dry overnight. After the cupcake section is completely dried, mix up the “frosting” and decorate as

Homemade Body Soaph

Recipe#1

1/2-cup of Shea butter
1/2-cup of beeswax, yellow or white
2/3-cup of liquid oil (jojoba or grapeseed are both excellent)
2 teaspoons of essential oil or fragrance oil (of your choice)

Melt the beeswax completely and then melt the butter/oil. Mix well; add the liquid oil and the essential oil. Poor in a mold. Let it sit for a few hours

Meringue frosting topping

2-cups White Melt & Pour Soap
8 tbsp. Natural Castile liquid soap
few drop of LabColor of your choice
few drop of essential oil of your choice
food sparkle

Melt the white soap and pour. Combine the melted soap with all of the other ingredients – liquid soap; few drop of LabColor and essential oil. Mix on medium speed until peaks start to form.  Put on a decorative cake bag and put on the top of your cup cake soap. Add sprinkling colored to your cupcake by adding sprinkling colored

Recipe#5 

1/6-cup corn flour
1/2-cup bicarbonate of soda
1/4-cup citric acid (can buy Citric Acid at Whole Foods or any other natural,type store)
10-12 drops of  essential oil
Food colouring (Optional)
A little water

Mix together well bicarbonate of soda and corn flour, add the citric acid Add the essential oil, one drop at a time. Be careful not to use too much. Add your favorite color with the water. Use a spray bottle or a pipette to add a small amount of water at the time or use plain water if you want a white soap. Spray carefully; the texture should look and feel like damp sand or flour. And Mix the ingredients with spoon; squeeze and if it holds together it is done…if not add a little more water. Put the finished mixture into a mold or use different shaped cookie cutters. Press the mix hard into the cutter shapes or the ice cube tray and then leave at room temperature one day

Homemade Shampooh

For some people a conditioner will probably be necessary

Recipe#1

1/2-cup distilled water
1/2-cup liquid Castile Soap unscented
1-tsp jojoba grape seed
few drop of essential oil of your choice

Mix together all the ingredients. Poor in a spritz bottle. Shake before use

Recipe#2
1/2-cup of soap flakes(Castile soap bar)
4-cups of distilled water
3/4-cup olive oil

Heat distilled water until it boils, add soap flakes in a large bowl, or Grate castile soap. Stir until it is smooth. Add olive oil, mix well, Let the it cool, Poor in a spritz bottle. Shake before use

Recipe#3
1-tablespoons of baking soda
2-cups of hot water

Work this through your wet hair, massage and then rinse out The baking soda by itself is quite drying on the hair and the vinegar rinse helps to balance that out.

Recipe#4
1/4-cup of lemon juice or fresh squeeze lemon
1/4-cup grated cucumber

Mix in a blinder, Work this through your wet hair, massage and then rinse out

1-cup distilled water
2-tps. of dried rosemary
2 tsp. of dried rose petals
1/2-cup liquid castile soap
3 Tablespoon aloe Vera gel
1-teaspoon of jojoba oil
20-30 drops of pure rosemary essential oil

Boil the water and poor on top of the herb and petals. Let it sit until it cool down. Stain, put the water in a bottle add the rest of the ingredient. Shake well. Work this through your wet hair, massage, and then rinse out

3 cups of soap flakes (or grated Castile soap bar)
1 1/2-cup distilled Water
Few drop of Essential Oil of Lavender
Few drop of Essential Oil of Rosemary

Boil the water, add the soap, mix well, and add the essential oils. Let it sit until it cool down. Put in a bottle. Shake well. Work this through your wet hair, massage, and then rinse out

1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons dried or 1/3 cup fresh chamomile, lavender or rosemary
1/2 cup liquid Castile Soap(unscented)
2-tsp. glycerin

Boil the water, add the herb, let it cool for a few minute, and add the Castile soap and glycerin. Put in a bottle. Shake well. Work this through your wet hair, massage, and then rinse out

Recipe#8

1-cup Aloes Vera gel or can use the plant open it and have 1-cup
2-tps. of jojoba oil
1/2-cup Water

If you use the plant put in blinder with the rest of the ingredient and mix, otherwise if you use the gel, mix all the ingredients.  Put in a bottle. Shake well. Work this through your wet hair, massage, and then rinse out

Recipe#1
4-tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
2-cups of hot water

Work this through your wet hair, massage and then rinse out

1-egg yolk
1-tps. of olive oil
1/2-cup Water

Homemade Hair Treatmenth

Recipe#1
Apple Cider Vinegar
Fresh or dry Herbs: lavender, rosemary, basil, oregano, sage or mints Citrus Peels: lemon peel, orange peel, lime peel

Use a wide mouth mason jar; fill half way with the assorted herbs and citrus peels, top with apple cider vinegar. Seal, store in a cool, dark place and shake daily for 20-30 days. Strain & refrigerate the infused vinegar Use 3 TBS of the herbal vinegar and put into a medium size spray bottle. Top with water Spray as much as you need on your hair after rinsing the shampooing, massage into scalp, rinse off No need of hair conditioner is needed

Recipe#2
1 TBS honey
4 cups warm water

Mix together, after rinsing the shampooing, massages your hair with the honey mixture do not rinse the mixture out, Dry

Recipe#3

1/2 cup honey
2 to 4 TBS olive oil (depending on hair type, use lesser amount for oily hair)

Mix together the olive oil and honey then massage, Cover your head with a shower cap, and let it set for 30 minutes. Shampoo, rinse, and dry

Homemade Natural Highlights hair Enhancers

Use For: Blonde Hair:

1/4 cup dried chamomile blossoms

2 cups distilled water

Brown Hair:

1/4 cup dried rosemary or sage leaves;

2 cups distilled water

Red Hair:

1/4 cup dried calendula blossoms;

2 cups distilled water

Mix the water and the herb at low heat for 30 minutes.  Strain. After rinsing the shampooing, rinse with the infusion twice, and dry

Tip: Use it regularly and the highlights enhancers will last longer

Home Remedies For Dandruff

White Household Vinegar: wet your hair and give it a rinse with vinegar. Let it sit for a few minute, rinse and wash with shampoo, Do this every time you wash your hair

Apple Cider Vinegar: wet your hair and give it a rinse with Apple Cider vinegar. Let it sit for 30 minutes, rinse, and wash with shampoo, Do this every time you wash your hair

Tea Tree Oil: After washing your hair (shampoo, conditioner). Pour 1 TBS Tea Tree Oil with 1 cup of warm water in a spray or squirt bottle, shake well, spray a generous on your hair. Massage and let sit for a 10-15 minutes. Pat the excess water and dry

Rosemary Tea: Brew 2-cups of water with1/3-cup of fresh or ¼-cup of dry Rosemary. Let it cool down. Strain and use as a rinse. Pat the excess water and dry (Dark hair only)

Peppermint Tea: Brew 2-cups of water with1/3-cup of fresh or ¼-cup of dry Peppermint. Let it cool down. Strain and use as a rinse. Pat the excess water and dry (Dark hair only)

Peppermint Cider Vinegar: Brew 1-cups of water add to 1 cup of apple cider vinegar  and with1/3-cup of fresh or ¼-cup of dry Peppermint. Let it cool down. Strain and use as a rinse. Pat the excess water and dry (Dark hair only)

Lavender Vinegar: use 1-cup vinegar to 4-cups of water Use as a hair rinse. Pat the excess water and dry adds shine

Homemade Body Scrub, toner, moisteningh

Recipe#1 (scrub)

Ginger Cinnamon-Salt Body Scrub

1-cup sea salt

1/2 tsp. ground ginger

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 cup almond oil or olive oil

Mix all ingredients, then gently rub over your skin (except your face). Rinse with warm water

Recipe#2 (scrub)

3/4 cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup ground oatmeal (not instant)

1/4 cup pure honey

3/4 cup liquid Oil (Jojoba, Grapeseed or Sweet Almond)

1/4 tsp. Essential or Fragrance oil (optional) or Vanilla works nicely.

Mix the brown sugar & oatmeal together in a large bowl. Add the honey and the liquid oil. Mix well. Add your essential oil or fragrance oil. Put in wide-mouthed jar. Then gently rub over your skin (except your face). Rinse with warm water

1/2-cup ground almonds

1/2-cup ground oatmeal

1/2-cup sugar

1/2-cup salt

1/4-cup almond oil

10-15 drops fragrance or essential oil

2 tsp. Honey

Mix all ingredients, and then gently rub over your skin (except your face). Rinse with warm water

Recipe#4 (moistening)

2-TBS emulsifying wax

2-TBS almond or sunflower oil

1/4-tsp. Borax

1/2-tsp. witch-hazel

1 1/2-tsp. glycerin

1/3-cup water few drops of jasmine oil

Melt the emulsifying wax and almond oil in a water bath In a separate pan, heat and mix well water, glycerine and Borax, add the witch-hazel, and jasmine oil. Add this water mix to the wax mixture. Stir constantly until cool. Poor in a container

Recipe#5 (moistening)

3 tsp. beeswax

3 tsp. emulsifying wax

1/2 cup almond oil

1/2 cup avocado oil

3 TBS. heated rosewater

Melt the beeswax and emulsifying wax in a double boiler or water bath (do not set wax directly over heat). Continually stirring, add the almond oil, avocado oil, and the heated rosewater drop by drop. Remove from heat and continue to stir until cool. If you wish you may add a fragrance at this time. *Almond oil is a wonderful

Homemade Face Scrub, toner, Moistrrizer, Masks, Exfoliateh

Recipe#1(scrub)  

2/3 cup crushed grape seeds, packed

1/2 cup Almond Oil

1/2 tsp. vitamin E

10-15 drops of fragrance oil

Mix all wet ingredient. Add the crushed grape seeds and mix well. Put into jars. Shack well before using

Recipe#2(scrub)      

2-TBS Aloe Vera gel

1-tsp. honey

2-TBS finely ground oatmeal or cornmeal

Mix all ingredients and massage into skin. Rinse with warm water then cool water

Recipe#3 (facial astringent, refresher or toner)

1-TSB rubbing alcohol or vodka or witch hazel

5-oz. rose water

Mix and use

Recipe#4 (Light-Moisturizer)

1-ounce (29g) aloe Vera gel

1 teaspoon (5ml) melted beeswax

2 teaspoons (10ml) glycerin

1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) avocado oil

Mix well the ingredients together until the beeswax cools. Put in a (glass) jar

Recipe#5 (Moisturizer)

1-TBS olive oil

1-TBS of gel from one large leaf Aloe Vera plant or you can buy at a Natural Store

Mix together. Apply a light layer every evening for moisturizer. Keep refrigerator. Or make it fresh everyday

5 Tablespoons French Green Clay (natural store)

5 dried bay leaves

1 cup boiled distilled water

Add bay leaves to the boiled water. Slowly add the liquid to the clay to form a thick paste. Apply to face and allow drying, rinse with warm water

Recipe#9 (Oily Skin Masks)

1-tsp. green clay

1-tsp. Aloe Vera gel

1 -sp. Witch Hazel

1 tsp. Lemon juice

Mix all ingredients to make a paste. Apply to face and let set for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water then cool water

Recipe#10 (Exfoliate)

Oily skin use: lime, Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit

Dry skin use: apple, raspberry, papaya, pear, and peach juices are highly beneficial for dry skin

Normal skin use: a mix if both oily and dry fruits

1-TBL. Gelatin

1/2-cup fruit or juice

Mix the ingredients and warm it in a microwave until the gelatine is completely dissolved. Let it cool until is thick, spread it on your face. Avoid eyebrows, eyes, and hairline. When the mask is no longer tingling, and it is dry. Peel from forehead to chin. Rinse with cool water

Recipe#11 (Exfoliate)

The cucumber juice is an astringent that tightens the skin and smoothens out wrinkles and fine line

1-TBL. Gelatin

1 small cucumber (peeled. Seeded and mash)

4-TBS of chamomile tea (steeped and strained)

4-TBS of green tea (steeped and strained)

2-TBS of aloe Vera gel

In a pot, combine the green tea, chamomile tea, and gelatin. Heat and stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved. Transfer to a glass bowl and add the cucumber past or you can use the juice from the cucumber only and add the aloe Vera gel. Cool until is thick. Apply mask to face, neck, let it  dry. Peel mask from forehead to chin. Rinse with warm water and pat dry

Homemade Bath soap or oilh

Recipe#1

2 cups powdered milk

2 TBS dried lemon peel

2 TBS dried lavender flowers

2 TBS dried rosemary

Mix all the ingredients. Pour into a clear glass bottle. Use 1/2 cup of the mixture per bath

Recipe#2 (refresher on hot summer days)

2-cups of Cider Vinegar

2-cups of Distilled Water

1 ½-cups of Fresh flowers, herbs, or aromatic leaves (organic geranium leaves, lilac, rosemary, lemon peel, orange peel, rose petals, lavender)

Use a 20-oz. mason jar and fill it with the flower or herb and add the vinegar Cover, seal, and let it sit for 15 days, shake everyday. Strain and poor in a bottle add the distilled water, Refrigerate

Rose Petals or lavender or lilac

2 oz. grapeseed oil

4-6 drops jasmine oil

4-6 drops ylang-ylang oil

Mix together in a jar for one-day shake it. Use 1/4 oz. of the oil to your bath.

Homemade powder

Recipe

1-cup of fresh Petals roses, lavender or lilac 1 cup cornstarch

3 TBS baking soda

In a large wide mouth jar, put by layer the petals and cornstarch. Cover with a cloth for 3 days, Sift the cornstarch removing the petal flowers. Add the baking soda. Mix well keep it in a seal jar. Dust skin with a powder puff after bathing or showering

How To Make Perfumeh

Recipe#1

Basic Perfume Recipe

2-cups of warm water

2-cups fresh chopped flower blossoms (use flowers as lavender, lilac, orange blossoms or honeysuckle, rose)

Fill a cotton cheesecloth bag with the flower blossoms put in a wide mouth jar and then pour water over and covered. Let it sit overnight. The next day, remove the bag and squeeze well to recuperate all the water from the bag. Heat the water in a pot and simmer until there is one to two Tablespoon left of the liquid. Let it cool, poor in a small bottle.

Recipe#2

2-tsp. Beeswax

4 oz. Vaseline

1-tsp. Fragrance Oil Concentrates or Essential Oils

Melt beeswax and the Vaseline over low heat. Stir one in a while until melt. Add the essential oil. Pour into container and let air dry until firm

Tip#1: You can store the toothpaste in jars or in capped squeeze bottles–just pipe out what you need mess-free

Tip#2: tube of toothpaste, cleaned out the inside then scooped the homemade toothpaste into the toothpaste tube. Fold over the cut end of the tube then secure with a toothpaste squeezer or packaging clamp

Recipe#2 (Mouthwash)

3 cups boiling hot water

4 TBS fresh peppermint leaves

2 TBS fresh coriander

1 TBS anise seeds

Mix all ingredients, let sit for one hour. Strain and poor in a capped squeeze bottles

Homemade Deodoranth

Recipe#1

½-cup baking soda

½-cup corn starch

few drops of essential oil or a handful of dried flowers (lavender is nice).

Mix, Use a duster or brush to apply

2 TBS. Shea Butter

2 tsp. beeswax

2 TBS. Calendula oil infusion (buy it at natural store)

3 drops palmarosa essential oil

8 drops lavender essential oil

6 drops vitamin E oil

Melt the Shea butter and beeswax in a microwave on low heat. Add the Calendula oil, the essential oils and the vitamin E, mix well. Pour the mixture into an old deodorant stick (previously sterilized) and leave it to cool

6 drops of rosemary essential oil

6 drops of tea tree essential oil

Melting the coconut oil and beeswax on low heat. Add in the Shea butter. Remove from the heat, mix the essential oil and the cornstarch well, and add to the rest. Whisk everything well until sort-of creamy Pour the mixture into an old deodorant stick (previously sterilized) or container, let it cool

Lavender Buds

Vodka

Fill a clear glass jar with lavender and cover completely with vodka. Seal jar.Place the jar, in a sunny spot for 25 days, shake it everyday. Strain and seal in a clean glass jar.Use as needed

2-cups water (distilled)

3-TBS vodka

15-20 drops Lavender essential oil

Mix well, all together, Seal in a jar or bottle, and keep in a dark place for 20 days before using

1 1/4-cups Flower petals, buds or herb

1 1/2-cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2tsp. Vitamin E oil or 3-4 capsules

Heat olive oil over medium, Add the vitamin E, Fill a mason jar with flower petals or buds.  Seal and shake to mix. Let jar in a sunny location and shake it daily 15-20 days. Strain and put in a sterilized bottle Use:  as a bath oil (2 to 3 TBS) or a body and facial moisturizer, dry skin

Insert a Pyrex bowl in the pot but make sure you live 2”to 3” between the rim and the water. Cover the pot with a large silver bowl who will cover the rim of the pot, when the mixture is boiling add ice cub in the silver bowl and low the heat, simmer for 2-4 hours. Add ice cub as they melt to keep the top cool. Make sure you watch the water in a pot, do not run out. The condensation (rose water) will drip down into the bowl inside the pot; recuperate this water and put in a sterilize glass bottle, refrigerate Or In a medium pot, put inside the petals, and cover with water, simmer for 1-2 hours. The (rose water) will be ready when the color of the petal change, strain to recuperate the water and put in a sterilize glass bottle, refrigerate

2 ½-tsp. Shea Butter

2 ½-tsp. of Beeswax

one drop of Flavor oil

Melt beeswax in a microwave. In a separate pot, heat the Lanolin oil and Shea Butter until it is liquid. Add the olive oil. Combine the beeswax and all the other ingredient; stir well pour into a container
